Last modified by Doug Maynard on 2013/10/02 15:55

CAPHC’s Patient Safety Collaborative is very excited to start this year’s webinar series off with a presentation on improving medication compliance.  Although medication adherence is a concern for all ages, this presentation will focus on adolescents.

Join us on Friday, September 27, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm ET

Dr. Natalie Dayneka, a pharmacist at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, will introduce the topic of medication adherence as a safety concern.  The objectives of the presentation are:

  • To explore the barriers raised that impede adolescent adherence to life-sustaining chronic medications
  • To share possible strategies which may augment adolescent medication adherence
  • To debate the advantages and disadvantages of adherence tools employed to affect medication adherence in the adolescent population

There will be time for questions and discussion and we encourage you to invite your colleagues to register for this stimulating session.
