18 18  Melissa Ngo, BA (Hons) is a Family Support Specialist in the Family Resource Centre at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Her educational background of Equity Studies, Linguistics and Sociology from the University of Toronto and lived experience of being a sibling of someone with autism drives her passion in the fields of childhood disability and disability rights. In her role at Holland Bloorview, she manages and develops resources and workshops for families who have children with disabilities. She also does individual resource consultations for the community, hospital staff and families. Melissa is the founder of Hand Over Hand, an organization that fosters safe and accessible spaces in the Greater Toronto Area.
